My name is Vanessa, most people call me Vee. I have been handcrafting paper flowers for 14 years. I started by watching YouTube videos of origami Rose's, Kasudama flowers, and lily's. It was always a hobby that I loved and made flowers seasonally. I went back to school in 2015 as a full-time student and quit my job at a bank. I focused on obtaining my degree in education, but in the process the paper flower bug hit me hard. I participated in an event here in San Antonio called Muertos Fest in October 2015 to celebrate and honor the lives of our loved ones that have passed. It was this event that changed the course of my journey and I started my business in November 2015. I stayed in school while running my business and graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in December 2017.
I love what I do, but on top of it all, I love that I can inspire other crafters/makers to pursue their dreams of starting their own business. I'm all about encouragement, positivity and community when it comes to what I do. My journey has just begun and I look forward to what's ahead. Thank you for stopping by! -Vee

Vee is an expert in her craft of paper flowers and there isnt anything she loves more than to share her tips and tricks with fellow creatives alike. Vee provides video tutorials across all of her social media accounts, hosts workshops for those that want more of a hands-on approach and launched Forever Petals Design Academy via her Facebook Page in 2018. She hopes to continue to inspire with her creative passion for years to come.
